Dear churches and saints,
The annual Mid-South Conference at Natchez Trace State Park will be held on the weekend of February 3-5, 2012. We will have much of the conference center available to us, including many of the inn rooms, the 17 cabins near Cub Lake, and six of the ten villas. The conference center restaurant will be serving meals. Brothers Dick Taylor and Colley Joseph will be with us.
- · This is a 24-hour conference, from 1:00pm on Saturday until 1:00pm on Lord’s Day. Note that many will come to the park on Friday evening and stay afterward on the Lord’s Day for further blending.
- · Directions: Exit 116 off the I-40, go south at the exit, and proceed about 12 miles to the Pin Oak Conference Center.
- · Call toll free 1-800-250-8616 to reserve your room at the inn, or in a cabin or villa. Reference the church in Memphis. To see pictures of the park, you can go to http://state.tn.us/environment/parks/NatchezTrace/, but do not reserve on-line as this often does not work. You should call them at the toll free number as soon as possible since accommodations are on a first-come-first-served basis.
The testimony we have in front of the workers at the park and other park visitors in the past has been very good. Let’s maintain this good testimony, especially with the supervision of the children and young people.
Please feel free, and encouraged, to bring new ones.
As fellow enjoyers of the descending dew and of the spreading ointment, we warmly invite each and every one of the churches and those saints who love the Lord in incorruption. May the Lord strengthen and add to the testimony of Jesus!
